It works
That is, the right balance between 3 mutually contradicting requirements is found. It is fun and easy enough to be a helper and not as a distraction. It displays enough kinds of data (links, images, notes, checked lists) to provide nontrivial support. It scales well enough (using links and collapsable branches) to be useful in real life covering the major part of all needs.
When the limits of scalability are exceeded, it remains useful as a bird’s eye view.
